New toys to build attachments with!

Everything Attachments is installing new equipment weekly. First is a new Cincinnati press brake (made in the USA) with a 350 ton capacity, and coming soon is a Cincinnati CL-800 laser capable of cutting 6'x12' sheets over 1" thick. Here are a couple of our new attachments designed to be cut with a laser that we will be able to build in house in just a few weeks.

Nice machinery Ted!

I was looking at the landplane / grader on your site but didn't see any weights listed. What will the standard and deluxe versions (with scarifiers) weigh in a 72" width?

In the video you mentioned the blades starting at a specific depth below the skids and being able to lower them as the blade wears. Will the blades also be adjustable even or close to even with the bottom of the skids? Some of us will use these attachments for finish landscape grading and contouring where this can be important.

Also, will you be making a skid steer model?

I worked at a place that did a lot of sheet metal. Some things up to 8' long. Shorter stuff up to 1/2" thick. The key will be having someone on board who has some imagination and moxy of what dies to use, how to set them up and program the steps in the builds.

Being in the machine shop, I got to build some custom dies that they used.
Was fun.

Congratulations on the Cincinnati equipment thats a big investment and hope it works out well for you.


I would agree with RDRancher that you need the capability to set the blades flush with the skids. I use my home built grader frequently to smooth lawns, constantly digging below the skids is not always the best solution. Cutting off the high mounds and redistributing to the low spots is easier to do with the blades set at zero depth.


Smoothing out a building pad is easy with the blades at zero but would be very difficult with the blades set 1/2" below the skids because you loose your point of reference.


The other thing I noticed about everyones landplanes is that the flanges of the skids seem to load up with gravel and drop them in the worst places. My second landplane much smaller at 48" uses rectangular tubing, much easier to clean off with a small shake of the hitch.

I agree with Steve and RDRancher about needing adjustable blades. My ETA landplane digs too well with the blades set at 3/4" below the skids. The soil mounds up and wedges between the front blade and the upper frame. Thus, the soil can't overflow evenly over the front blade. It's not a big problem; but, it's just a another reason for having the landplane adjustable. The benefit as Steve describes for setting the blades even with the skids is most important.

Hi David, and thanks for purchasing one of our land levelers. After reading your comments about the land leveler, I have used this a lot on gravel roads and parking lots, and have not had the time to get in the dirt yet, but I will soon. I can see your point, when used in the dirt that the edges could become too aggressive. For my new design, I will add the ability to go from an even cut with the skids, to about 1-1/2" below. You said that the dirt was hitting the upper tube, so I will probably increase the height of the skids so that can't happen. I appreciate your comments, and it will help us make a better piece of equipment. Thanks again

That is one beauty of a piece of equipment. Nice to know that this stuff is being made in the USA by people who stand behind thier products. I have watched a few of your online videos (and since we have had dial up till recently, a few is all we get) but you appear really committed to your product line and especially some of your unique products (I am thinking of the cultivator you sell that if memory serves you make yourself). Personally, I will go out of my way to buy a product made in the USA instead of a foreign import. Did I mention I was born on the 4th of July?!

I was wondering, are you willing/able to make any customizable equipment? I have a need for a log arch and while I have seen some from log rite (I think that is the company), thier products just don't seem to fit my needs as well as I would like/have to pay. I also would be interested in some belly armor for my 2305. I can think of a few other Itemms as well and I have made a couple of attachments out of wood as this is the material in which I am best prepared to work. Personally I think there is a growing market for CUT attachments, but especially SCUT attachments as these are relatively new tractor lines and implement makers have traditionally been focused on larger tractors and have yet to fully catch up to this new market.

If I sent you any specific info, would you/could you do customization, or is this out of your area? I have a few ideas that I would be interested in, and who knows, others might like them too. There are after all, quite a few SCUT owners out there and one of the few limitations they have are implements in thier size range and ground clearance. I would think that ground clearance would be easy to solve, but there might be a market for other, low HP/limited CAT 1 implements as well.

Please let me know, I have visited your site numerous times and i just drool over the possibilities, but only a few are real probabilities. You could respond either as a reply to this message, or PM me through TBN.
