Was at my local ag store today and saw this in their flyer. Has anyone installed and used one of these in their tractors? If so how well did it work?
Thank you.

What is it used for?

It is a sparyer controller, it allows you to control three different branches of a boom sprayer with electric 12v selinoids. So you can shut off or on different parts of the spray boom wit the flip of a switch.

I don't know much about that brand, but they are common on many many farm sprayers all across the corn belt.

It can be fitted on the spray boom from a sprayer (sold separately). Normally, you use one for the right and left boom and for the section behind the tractor.

Turn pressure On and Off via. electrical switch verse and manual cutoff valve.

EDIT: see you post a photo of the sprayer - looks like you have a two section boom (you could plumb in the third for a hand wand). The sprayer in the photo looks like it's easy enough to reach back and turn On / Off the different section. I think the controller was made for larger tractors (kind of over kill for ones that you can reach the controls from the seat).

I can't reach the controller from the seat cause of the cab, I knowticed it has a psi gauge and I am presuming I could control the psi with the switch? If so that would be one of the reasons I would like to get it cause where I spray I am constantly adjusting the psi depending on what area is being sprayed.
The sprayer has a two section boom and it has a wand as well.

I have one that looks just like that controlling my 60ft boom. It was fairly simple to install and easy to use. Other than it was made with cheap parts that I have had to replace over the yrs, I am well satisfied with it.

Lol, I've knowticed a few downsides to having a cab too. I don't have a closer photo cause I don't have the controller yet. That photo was from the flyer but I think I will order it tomorrow.

I can reach out the back window and cut mine on and off but wish sometimes it was simple as small switchs in cab but I would really like if the boom folded in by a switch 16ft gates and 21ft boom:D spraying.JPG
