Rear Blade What size blade would I need

I have a new Kubota B3200, and after looking at all the blades on Everything Attachments and Land Pride I am unsure what this tractor will handle. Will a 72 inch back blade be too much for this tactor. The tires are not loaded as it is was not recommended by the dealer due to the BH attachment. I am also confused on whether or not I can have a hydraulic blade, and if it hooks up the same as the BH does or does it need different controls and what would the approximate price be for the set up. I have about 300 ft of driveway (u shaped), and it is stone not pavement so I am thinking skid shoes would also be a good idea so as not to scrape all the stone off the driveway. I live in the southern tier of Buffalo so I get lots of snow. The reason Im thinking of a back blade is due to the price of getting a front mount snowblower. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I would think that you could handle a 5' blade...
I pull a 5" medium duty box blade with my NH 1720...
The tractor with rears loaded weighs 3300#...
Your tractor is quite a bit lighter but a scrape blade should be easier to pull...

I have a B3200 but no back hoe. My understanding is that you have to remove the BH and attach the 3 point arms. I stand to be corrected on that issue.

As far as blades - box blade, scraper blade or land plane. I went for a 60 inch land plane and have no regrets. If you are going to maintain a rock or gravel driveway the land plane is my suggestion. Everything Attachments has a great video of what it looks like and how it works.

I added a hydraulic top link from Fit Rite to control the land plane. No regrets.

To move snow efficiently with a rear blade, you'll want to angle it to 30 or 40-45 degrees so it moves the snow to the shoulder. With the blade set at that angle, ideally you'll have enough blade that you will be clearing a path for your tires and not packing unplowed snow. For really deep snow, you'll definitely wish you had a blower, but the FEL and a rear blade sure beat the snow shovel!

How wide is your tire track, outside sidewall to outside sidewall? Multiply your blade length by .707 to get the width it will clear when set at 45 degrees.

Use at least a 6' foot blade to get full tire coverage when you angle the blade. 30 degrees should be more than enough. Don't forget your garage door size, when the blade is straight.

from the manual the overall width is 53.7 inches. I am not sure if that is inside the tires or to the outside, I will have to measure. The manual also says the max width of the blade recommended is 66 inches and weight of 550 lbs. At 45 degrees with the .707 it doesnt seem like it will cover the tire tracks. The blower would be nice but the front setup is around 5000 dollars, more than I can afford this year after buying the tractor, fel, bh, and 58 in tiller.

Dividing 53.7 by .866 (Cos 30) gives 62", so a 6' will cover your tracks and a 5' blade would probably do. I find I have to use more than 30 degrees when we get really wet snow - not sure if that's something you have to deal with a lot.

Im in the southern tier of buffalo so it is considered the snow belt. We get heavy wet snow until lake Erie freezes.

When I bought my NH TC29DA, which is similar to your B3200, I was informed by the dealer that I could handle a 72" blade in order to be able to still clear my tire width with an "at angle" rear blade. Tire style and total rig weight is an important concern.

Don't forget a little slip spray on the blade. The snow will glide right off.
