Great buy. I just got a SQ172 for my MF 1652. Works great.

I have 700+ hours on mine,only broke two shear pins.Nice unit.Mine is beat to *ell but works well.

Check for youself and make sure gearbox oil filled to correct level.
I own the SQ172 just for personal use not commercial. Which you just reminded me dealer gave me an extra vent plug.

Good mower brand. My 480 Squealer is around 10-11 years old and still going strong. I see that your hydraulic top link is mounted with the two hose ports positioned down.

This is my second Bush Hog. The first was a SQ420 I used for 10 years on my TC18.

The hydraulic top link is mounted that way so it won't hit my toolbox when I raise the 3 pt. hitch.
