Was reading about these hooks on this thread several weeks ago and had to get my own. Ken worked with me and set me up with a set for my Kubota bucket - not an easy feat. So far so good!
I like your location. So far mine have been no problem. They are located on the outside, bottom, back corner of the bucket. I have pics, but still having problems posting to this site. There may be a size limit that I'm not aware of.
Thanks putting them on the large spacers for my particular bucket did the trick of getting them over the top lip of the Kubota bucket. Also, the leveler bracket on mine sits to the outside so I was able to get the hooks in line with the cylinders. The pic I posted didn't really show what I had hoped, I had some trouble as well so I may try again later.
View attachment 319312 Well, maybe this will work. Seems to have. I guess there is a size (mb) limit to attachments. Anyhow, I'm better at drilling holes than using my welder. There is one hook on each side, in the same place.
Rather than starting a brand new thread on exactly the same topic I figured it might be appropriate to resurrect this semi-dead one. Just received a set of 2 custom fabricated grab hooks and shackle bolt backing plates for my BX2360's FEL. Gotta say that I can't be happier with the quality of work! Also Ken was absolutely awesome to talk with, and was very quick on the turn around despite it being a holiday weekend and having a back log!
Great, Ken really does all he can to get you going. I have used my hooks a couple times, tried pulling out some dead trees and actually lifted the back end of the tractor off the ground higher than I was comfortable with
- the trees are still there but the hooks didn't fail. Good luck with yours!
