2nd for air impact wrench. I don't even try anything else on any kind of mower blade bolt.

Put some anti seize on the thread before you run them back in.

If you don't have one yet, you really need to get a good air-compressor and 1/2" impact wrench.

I use an impact wrench on my Land Pride mower blades. Works fine even on a low torque setting.

Man, I hate to me too, but I can relate my experience.. Nothing and I mean nothing beats an impact. All your removing mower blades problems will disappear. I have a piece of junk 250 ft lbs Campbell Hausfield I have had for years, and an oilless compressor. Certainly not a proffesional setup..But it takes the most stubborn nut off first time every time with out effort. I have heard the electric harbor freight 1/2 inch impact is actually good, but I cannot vouch for it.. but if I were you and did not want to spend the money for a compressor, I would run to the nearest harbor freight and buy one for under 30 dollars and get a set of the impact sockets maybe 12 bucks. and be done with it. Trust me.. it is that easy. Impact, there is NO substitute.

Many years ago, before I had an air-compressor, I bought a Black & Decker electric impact. It worked quite well. Then when we were full time RVers, I carried a Craftsman electric in the RV; changed a few tires with it, and even replaced all the springs, shackles, etc. on a brother's fifth-wheel with it.

The good points are not needing an air-compressor for them (although I don't know how anyone can get along without an air-compressor anyway), and can buy an electric cheaper than pneumatic in many cases.

The bad points are that they are big and heavy, and usually do not have the power of a pneumatic.

I bet if you use a cheater bar on you socket wrench and try it for a reverse thread, it might come off fairly easy. What do you have to lose?

Call the dealer, or just go by there and get your blades, and ask the parts man if they are right or left-hand threads.

As already suggested, find someone with a 3/4" drive air impact.

I have owned a RFM now for over 20 years...
The first 5 years or so I utilized a cheater bar and wrench to lock the top of the spindle down...
This was after liberal use of PB Blaster...
I finally broke down and purchased a very good 450 ft. lb. air wrench and air compressor to break loose those nuts...
My current procedure is to place two jack stands under the mower, roll under the deck with a creeper, and loosen the nuts with my air wrench...
It will set you back some coin, but the pleasure of being able to quickly remove those nuts is worth it...
Plus you will have other uses for your impact wrench...
I can't stress enough to make sure that you have an air compressor that will produce enough CFM to turn the impact wrench...
My impact wrench is rated @ 5 CFM @ 90 psi...
My air compressor is rated @ 9.9 CFM @ 90 psi...

I have had a 6' RFM for 15 years. Had the same problem the first time I tired to change the blades. Bought an electric Dewalt impact gun (around $175) and that takes them off no problem.
