Check out this Construction Attachments root grapple on our website. We also have a how-to video showing it in action here. It is a full blown root grapple that is light enough to work with compact tractor loaders but of superior design that is equal to today's powerful four wheel drive tractors. The 72" should be a perfect match for your tractor.

It's about what you can lift that will determine the size. I bought a grapple for my kubota and realized it was too heavy by the time I lifted anything. I know I should have checked teh lifting capacity and the weight of the grapple.....but I just went by SIZE, huge mistake.

HP has nothing to do with you loader lifting capacity.

I ended up keeping the grapple and getting rid of the Kubota that could lift 1,500 ( with the grapple about 500 pounds ) pounds to a skid steer that can lift about 7,000 pounds - with the grapple not even a issue.

We can't give you a good answer unless we know what your main uses will be for the grapple. In some cases anything over a 48" is more than you need, and in some you should go with a wider grapple, very rarely do you need one that is as wide as your tractor. There are also pros and cons between grapples with 1 grapple arm, or 2, there are root rake grapples, and flat, open bottomed grapples. Most of the time the flat open bottom grapples are more useful than the root rake (clamshell) type.

Can you give us more info on what you will be doing with it?
