All I can say is, after digging with my bucket and toothbar, this thing is fantastic! Dug out this 18" stump (freshly cut) in about an hour.

Think I maxed out the lift on my CK35.

Thats a pretty good stump - fir or spruce maybe?
Looks like a good tool to have.
Can you drive that root ripper right into the ground ?

How much does it weigh and how long is the snout? Is it made from 3/8" or 1/2" material?

It's a spruce. It's like having a giant shovel on the end of my tractor. The tip is 6" wide and yes, I can drive it into the ground like a spade. Still take a lot of digging to get all the roots exposed but sure beats using a hand shovel!

Bucket Solutions clamp-on "Bucket Spade" is a variation on the theme; lighter, though @ 110 pounds.

Tractor Forks, Bucket Forks, Loader Forks

I attach my bucket spade to a Kubota B3300SU / 33-hp / 25-hp PTO.

You would think it might loosen up in use....but it NEVER has.

I was looking at that but I liked the "teeth" on the Rylee bucket. They help to cut the roots off when digging around a stump.

With it directly in front of the tractor, how hard is it to see where you are digging? looks like it would be great on a skid steer.

It can be a little difficult to see where the tip makes ground contact. Sometimes when I want to make a plunge I need to get up and look over the tractor to get the front edge where I want it. Still beats using a shovel though.
