I am trying to decide between an artsway or a what I believe to be a bush hog brand finish mower or a good old woods. Both of the pictured mowers are 6' and fairly old. To me the attached photo is a bush hog, but not sure. The artsway they are asking $550 and the bush hog they are asking $500. I looked at the artsway and the owner thought it was around 20 years old, but the only thing that I saw wrong was that the runner on one side is rusted through in a spot. I haven't went to look at the red one yet. I am fininding Woods around the same price. I had a 5' RM360 before, but sold it with a JD 790 that I had. Now I'm just looking for a cheap one to run behind my Kubota B7100 HST to keep the grass down around my field. I have a zero turn for my yard. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I just found out that the red one is a Bush Hog Turf Hog. It is a side discharge and so are the Woods mowers. The Arts-Way is rear discharge. To me the rear would be better for taller grass. Any thoughts?

No windrows from a rear discharge mower...that, to me, is an advantage.

I think Woods makes great equipment (my RFM and chipper are Woods), but I don't care for the two wheeled type...too easy to scalp.
