Equipment search question?

What is the easiest way to search Craigslist for equipment? Do you have to go to each city to search for an item or can you search a larger area?

I use search tempest, it searches all the craigslist adds whatever distance from you that you set.

Try Statewidelist Search Craigslist, eBay, Oodle, Geebo and many others by state.. Pick a state and enter an item to be searched. I found out that you must let the search fully load before clicking open a specific CL post because if you don't, the inital search process will start all over again and if you are still on a dial-up connection it becomes quite annoying.

I just tried the link above and it seems that Statewidelist.com has changed their screen appearance and method of search in the past couple of weeks since I was last there looking for a post hole digger. Seems that it now won't open automatically every sub area in the state all at once but wants you to individually click open each sub area one at a time.

I use to use searchtempest, but for the last couple of weeks it's been messed up... They claim it's something that craigslist has changed and they are working on it.
I liked the fact that I use to be able to search all of craigslist a certain distance from my zipcode.
