    Any ideas on what this is and how it works? This was posted for sale in cl in dallas and he had no idea what it is.

    Looks similar to my Covington one row planter with all the upper housing etc missing. I wouldn't give a dollar for whatever it is.

    Agree. Looks like part of a planter that someone has taken and mated with a 3-pt hitch. Not sure what its use is but most likely gardening related as planters aren't used that much in this part of the world.
