IHi Andy, et al,
I've been meaning to get back on here and thank you for the link to the Agri-supply adapter, 'cause for the $9.99, I decided to get a spare- perhaps to leave one on each of our most often used implements, but I've been working extra shifts to make up for the 5 day weekend I took off last week to rent and use a Yanmar Kio27 mini-excavator. :cool2:
I'll be posting details about how it worked and what we did with it on another post [hopefully soon].
In further support of the HF QH, I just want to say that we've been using it extensively with our 48" Gannon Rollover boxblade to move and regrade all the spoils from our excavating, and it hasn't ever even creaked, despite very heavy loads and off-center pulls. :shovel:
I haven't taken it off the tractor since we got it, I just keep making adjustments or adaptations for it on the hitch points of any and every new piece of steel we get that needs an adapter to go on it.
That being said, our boxblade went on pretty easily, without any sweat at all.:applause:
As far as having to get off the tractor to change implements goes, that's the least of my issues with having the quick hitch.
What I HATED!!!!:hissyfit: was having to painstakingly screw the lower lift arms in and out to change out each piece of equipment once I got backed up to it. :yuck:
Being able to back up and get the pins locked into the lower hooks by just lifting the 3-pt is an awesome improvement. :cloud9:
After that's done, getting the toplink hooked up is breeze by comparison:windy:- I just always make sure our 3-lb [HF] drilling hammer is close at hand for the more delicate :rotfl: adjustments....
Take care,
Thomas
