I finally ran out of things to do with the blade. It's been on the tractor since I got it and I need to hook up to the flail. :( So I took a few pics for you guys

Three pictures of the blade, a picture of the ditch I cleaned out and a picture of the old blade I struggled with.

Now that's a SERIOUS blade hanging off the back there, but...... how in the world could you have done any work with it??? Those tires look BRAND NEW, you can still see the webbing between the lugs!!! JK'ing there.

Tractor is pretty new, only about 120 hours or so. It used to be a Grand L3240 but I kept feeding it the best oils and fuel I could find and babied it and lo and behold, it grew up into a L5740, just like I had hoped.

Great blade. I have the same one and have found the skid shoes to be very helpful as well.

Holy cow! That thing's a beast! You're making my poor little tractor with its little tools have an inferiority complex.:ashamed:;)

Got any more of that magic oil?

You might want to turn the 90s on the swing and angle cylinders to point rearward then run the hoses on top of the main beam. Looks like you have enough hose to do that and would make a cleaner setup.

Fresh out of the magic oil. I'm looking for another source. :)

As far as the hoses, yes they are a mess but I can't turn the fittings unless I back them out. I was able to turn one fitting on the swing cylinder to the center and made that side a bit better. The others are bottomed out. I AM addressing that, one solution is new fittings and another is to have the hoses remade to the correct length. They are all the same and are what Land Pride provides.

Hmm funny you should bring up something about "neat" ing up the hoses. After all, It is just a rear blade. Now, where did I leave my MeGuire's polish and wax. ;)
