I'm still interesting in a quote from Brian on the hydraulic offset and angle cylinders, but the latest quote for the dealer on the rbt3584 is higher than the quote from yesterday even....

And even though they might get it on their regular shipment from LP, they say there will be additional freight charges. So that cools me off a little on both counts. Plus like around 10 percent tax makes a bigger number than I was thinking.

Wish I could find one used with reasonable shipping

This is odd,:confused3: it was my understanding that if a person was willing to wait for the std shipping time, that the shipping was free.

Check your e-mail, quote was sent earlier yesterday. $500 shipped to your door. ;)

are the cylinders and pin sizes the same between the 35 series and the 40 series? Just curious.

No, the stroke on the 40 series is 16". Other than that, same diameter cylinder and pin size.

I am told Landpride has no rbt84 in stock currently and plan to make some more in a week. So my dealer doesn't know if there will be on ready in time for their LP shipment.

btw, the cushion valve is an extra $500 from LP. I sure don't want one that bad.

I wish I lived near a good dealer. They never have any parts in stock I need, don't keep much equipment in stock and seemed to be short on info.

The "best" dealer isn't getting back to me on what is a full priced rbt3584, and the other dealer told me that the rbt3584 has been discontinued and replaced by the rb3784. Which he has in stock and wants me to buy. If true, that is the first I've heard or read of that.

The dealer is getting the RB35 series confused with the RBT35 series.

Yes the RB35 series has been replaced by the 36 and now the 36 has been replaced by the RB37 series. The RB series is a different animal from the RBT series blades. I know that you know all this already. I would have to say that the dealer is simply trying to sell you what he has, pretty simple.

Yeah, I've read that in these threads. Plus LP told the first dealer they were planning to make more rbt3584's.

But that gives an indication of the dealers around here. And by all reports there are two other dealers that have even worst reputations (one has like an F- BBB rating...)

Still trying to hear back from the first dealer on whether they will order the rbt3584 with manual tile, no hydraulics so I can order those from you.

Don't know who you have been dealing with but if it is Jennings in Puyallup then I am not surprised at the run-around that you are getting. Dealt with what you are going through back in 2011 and I feel for the struggle. I got jerked around, they knew less than I did and their air of superiority in dealing with the customer turned me away very fast. In addition, they would not deal and they were overpriced by a LOT.
I know Mt Vernon is a bit of a trip but I found mine up there and the drive was worth it. I got a practically new RBT4096 for less than I expected and they also had other used RBT 35's and 40's that they were selling at that time. (Consignment sales for owners) The manual options are so expensive (percentage of the hydraulic cost) that if you think that you will upgrade in the future do it now so that you do not waste the money by replacing manual later with hydraulic.

Barnett Implement of Mt Vernon was where I got my RBT4096 with three way hydraulic and I would go back to them again even with the drive time.

I"ll check them out. (The website comes up called washington tractor.)

I"ll check them out. (The website comes up called washington tractor.)

There has been so many buyouts and then re-buyouts that I do not know who is who any more.
I know Sumner Tractor became Barnett then Washington tractor and the Chehalis dealer was Barnett and became Washington tractor but the last I knew some of the Barnett places stayed Barnett.
A quick google Barnett Implement Co - Mount Vernon, WA shows that Mt Vernon may still be Barnett but it may be out of date. If Washington tractor took over at Mt Vernon then all bets are off on dealing and price but they may still have the inventory.

I did another search and yes Washington tractor took them over as well in October of 2013. Still worth it to check on the inventory.
