This might be a crazy idea, (probably is) but it doesn't hurt to ask..... I have 6' bush hog sq172 model that I use to cut yard with. (I know there are better options.) It does ok, but doesn't cut as low as I'd like without scalping some as yard is not level. I was thinking of drilling holes and bolting two swivel caster wheels on front of bush hog (see pics of lip below) A couple of holes on inside and outside of lip with bolt head up to allow more clearance for blades. Then letting 3 pt. all the way down and bush hog pulls like finish mower. One problem I might find is heavy duty wheels might still be too large diameter and not cut low enough. Also, do you think this is too much on caster wheels and they will rip off, dig into ground, Other problems?? Thanks
