Woods Finishing Mower Blade questrion???

I used to own a dixie hopper years ago and the high lift blades work great for me..........and the Gator blades left a trail of discharge so I didnt like them, but may work for a PTO driving mower, since there might be more flow???

I now and was geown a woods RM550 finish mower. The blades are bad and was getting ready to order me some blades.

I was wondering if anyone has has any experience with the high lift blades vs the medium lift blades?


any input would be nice.

ps. I do always try searching before asking a question, since most of the time you can find the ansew

I have an rm90, I am not sure what blades are on it now but if and when I replace them I will definitely get the high lift blades. The disadvantage as I understand it is in dusty conditions. High lift blades will raise more dust.

....makes me wonder if I need the high lift being I live in Florida. Also, sothern grass isn't like the northern grass........I lived in Michigan most my life.....

Well, hope someone down here reads this and puts in their input before I end up ordering a set in about a week or two.

found my ansew......searched just the word "blades" and found many.......

will be going with the medium lift, because of the lifting of sand and dulling the blades quickly
