Default La Magdalena PTO Shaft Q?

So this shaft has me a bit stumped...I would expect the safety shield
would twist and turn and move out of the way so you can access the push
button release but dang if I see how it works. Any input? I think I found the mfg
in Spain and I wrote asking for a manual...I am not holding my breath for
    some reason.

There is (should be) an exposed push button on the tractor end (left side in middle pic). That will slide over and click on to your PTO shaft.
The right side of the shaft (implement end) is normally "permanently" attached to your slip clutch- you wouldn't expect a push-button release and a receptacle for the PTO splined shaft there...
The far end of slip clutches usually attach to the implement's input shaft with a couple of bolts that are "keyed" at a right angle to said shaft, or some similar method requiring tools.
(I have a 1980's version of this shaft/slip clutch rig that is almost identical, but made in Italy)

Thanx so much for the input but I do understand exactly
how the shaft connects to the tractors PTO Stub and
the implement stub. In this case I have a quick release
    push button on both ends.

What I am trying to figure out is how the Yellow Plastic SAFETY SHIELD
disengages and moves out of the way. Maybe it does'nt!

I have another shaft for my BEARCAT and the yellow safety shield
kinda turns and pulls back so you can properly access the
    push button release mechanism...

I hope I am more clear this time...

Here is how it works. believe it or not. You take a flat blade screwdriver and push in on the front of the 3 black plastic "catches"
so that their shoulders will clear the yellow plastic. You may have to go around more than once to get them all to release simultaneously, then pull the shield back.. This is not something you will want to do all the time as it will wear out the shoulders eventually. You will then have access to the black plastic "bearing" that you are supposed to grease thru the little fake plastic Zerk. You should not have to pull the shield back for any reason other than to replace parts or work on the cross etc. Good Luck

Also believe it or not, the La Magdalena's method of keeping the shroud is better in my opinion than the EuroCardan. It is really hokey in having a small piece of plastic to turn 180 degrees with a very small screwdriver then lining up the 3 white tabs by twisting the outer collar, and pulling back... I don't like it much.. Well I really don't like either one a great deal, but the La Magdalena is easier in my opinion.

Also In looking at your Photo, the little fake grease zerk did not seem to have any grease in it. (I could be wrong).. but in any case you need to grease the plastic zerks as well as the crosses each time you grease. This lubes the plastic "bearing collar" that I spoke of earlier. Of course you need to slide the tubes apart and grease the outside of the inner tube so that the bearing surfaces of the outside of the inner tube and the inside of the outer tube stay well lubed.

BINGO! Ok I think I will be A-Ok and THANK YOU!
I picked up a gearmore AS Series tiller for BARTER. Very nice low
hours condition. It came w/ this Slip Clutch PTO. Indeed
if those are plastic zerks it is dry so I will so that deed as well
after I pull it all apart to inspect.

I hooked up the tiller and found the PTO Shaft is too long.
I HATE to cut it so I think I will spring for a Harbor Freight
quick hitch, that should make it work plus I want one so...
