I guess dogs must come under the attachments forum heading. At least mine should. If Dot or Ruby think I'm doing something with the tractor they race me to it and become attachments. When I'm not working with it they're loafing on it. Anyone else have photos of their dogs with their tractor?

Dang, this makes me miss my Jack Russel. She passed in March of this year at the age of 15. She had congestive heart failure and even though she was pretty sick the last year of her life she still always got excited every time I hooked up the trailer to the truck because she knew she was going with me to the woods to do some tractor work. She always wanted to run along and the last time she went with me while I was doing some work, I looked back and saw she was really struggling to keep up. Even though she had a bad heart it was still as big as all outdoors. It's getting kinda hard to see the screen of my tablet through the misty eyes so I guess I stop here.

I have no pictures, but my cat will take my tractor seat as soon as I shut it off, or if I get up from my desk, my cat will take my chair.

my dog Patches loves to ride on the tractors, and he even rides on the Zero turn mower from time to time.

I can appreciate your feelings. I have a special little girl who is almost 15 (border collie/shelte) and is really showing her age while I get my seat time. Makes me misty just thinking about your story an how soon and close this is going to hit home.

My dog runs alongside my tractors when I am out mowing all day long (on the right side not the left he only took one rock to learn that lesson) He knows as soon as they go back on the trailer its time for the ball chunker and he can fetch tennis balls for 5 minutes before we move to the next spot. He gets all upset if he is inside and one of the tractors get started, I believe He thinks they belong to him I just get to use them
