New Brown Disk Harrow

Just tried it out and man does it cut deep. Sucker is very heavy and all my Ford 3910 would want. Really built well and leaves a smooth bed of dirt behind her too.

Its only a furrow filler so not designed for cutting just leveling ground. Good question though as i asked same thing originally.

Originally i was going with Tuffline but they seem to be over priced for what you get. They have a big name but at least in my area they cost several hundred more to get same weight, duty strength etc. They do offer ALOT of different models though where Brown only manufactures very heavy duty stuff. Even their rotary cutters are beast of machines. For example if you look at Rhino cutters and their super heavy duty line they use CAT 5 drive lines and CAT 4 in their heavy duty line. Brown on the other hand uses CAT 8 on their super duty and CAT 5 on their medium or their standard duty model. This is a huge different. Decks are thicker too as most competitors use 10 gauge where they use 7 gauge. They just focus on really overbuilt stuff. Its a family owned business and been around along time.

Another thing that is nice about this disk is the new hitch design. This design (when using top hole) allows the rear gang to be lifted very high. This is a very nice feature if you need to remove from a high angled trailer or traverse a deep ditch etc and need to keep the rear gang from dragging or digging into stuff.
