We finally picked up a cultipacker. It is a 8' double row cultipacker made by Parker Plow Co. It seems to be in great shape, no cracks or welds none of the rollers are broke. We planted 2 acres of clover this weekend and packed it with our new to us cultipacker.

It has a frame on top where we could add weight to it if need be.
Also I need to find a way to modify it to either three point or put some kind of transport wheels to get if from plot to plot. We do not have a loader bucket for our tractor. It was loaded on my trailer with a bucket loader and when we got it back to our camp I had to use a come along to raise it of the trailer.

You may be able to take off the back section, which would lighten it up. then fabricate lift points to hook to your 3pt.

EDIT: but then again.............I see your on Long Island, you should have mainly sandy soil. If that is the case, I would consider using the back half only. Too much weight may mess up your planting.
Check with others to be sure(I've never planted in sand).
