Which hoe for a B3030 cab?

There won't be any difference in the hoe itself, it will be in the specific subframe to fit the cabbed B3000, which will bolt to the B3030 since they are the same tractor. Go ahead and sell your tractor. :)

Haven't heard from the guy in a few days. Appears to have lost interest. My other local guy was a no show also. A lot of tire kickers and dreamers out there who think I'll be giving this thing away. They should build one on Kubota's website and see what a new one stickers out at! :yo-yo:

I can sympathize ..... I've had a couple items on CL lately and its amazing how many people are just amusing themselves by wasting your time. I think your asking price is good, just give it more time. Also, I'd think about put a couple ads on surrounding CLs... like Rochester or whatever.

Good plan. Maybe Syracuse area would work. Or not. I guess CL doesn't allow posting in multiple cities. I gave it a shot and they blocked it in Syracuse. Oh well.
Also, just heard from the original interested party. His local Kubota dealer told him that a Woods or other aftermarket would go onto a 3030 cab, but not so for a Kubota BH77. He's decided to search for a B3000.

I could not find where that combination was useable in the price book although with small modifictions one might be made to work. The cab tractor does take the extended frame to move it back from the tractor to clear the cab.

Art, are you saying you think Kubota has changed something in the chassis between the B3030HSDC and B3000HSDC ? It would defy logic to me, that the subframe (and therefore the backhoe) for the B3000 would not bolt up to the B3030.

Forgot to mention....... you should be able to post in surrounding areas, but you have to change alot of the wording in the ad, especially the title.

I've actually been getting some calls from further away than Syracuse. I guess that if people are really looking for a tractor, they'll search further afield on their own.
Never did find a definitive answer on the BH77 question. I think that ship has sailed anyway.

Subscribed.

I have a B3000HSDCC (cab) with a BH77 backhoe. The backhoe sits on a short frame extension that moves it back about a foot to clear the cab. I can shoot a photo if you'd like but the BH is off at the moment. The frame extension can be seen either way.

Radair, if I could just confirm, your BH77 was able to fit on the cab'd B3000 because the subframe mounted to the tractor appears to be a bit longer, correct?

If it's like the BH77 frame as used on the B3350 cab, there is an extension attached to the hoe proper. This extension duplicates the original two lower pins and two upper pin holes and moves them forward towards the tractor subframe so they engage the tractor's subframe with the hoe further away from the tractor. With the hoe removed, there is no "abnormal" extension of the tractor subframe (it would get in the way of the 3-point).
