I recently purchased a universal quick attachment "pallet forks "made by branco 4000#. It won't fit my loader. It is about 1/2" to small. My plate is too big vs the pallet forks. From what i have read there are two different sizes that you guys are getting. Do i need to just take this back? Or is there an easy fix? The pins won't even latch and the reciever plate isn't flush to the adapter plate. Also this branco is a HOSS...the bottom where it latches is 5/8 " Steel Plate and the rest is 1/2". I can cut it and weild it..but seems like allot of trouble.

If i take this back how do i know what to buy if my loader/adapter plate is bigger than the smallerskidsteer standard? Any body come accross this before i see where the attachment is too big.I will post some pics tomorrow if i don't end up taking this back to my New Holland dealer.
Thanks

Are you sure they're not from BraDco? I looked and couldn't find any BraNco forks...

What about it keeps it from fitting? When I bought my Bradco forks, I did have to trim the inside end where the skidsteer style QA goes in. Simple, using a sawzall. I can try to get a picture of mine, but I don't know how well my minor modification will show.

Hope this shows OK, it was a five minute modification. You should be able to see where I touched up the paint with Kubota grey where I had to remove a small triangle shaped piece. They fit perfectly now.... apparently not all universal stuff is completely universal.

I took the bradco forks back to the new holland and he hooked up a mahindra and they fit just fine. I then called my dealer that i bought the tractor form and he said that thier was a known issue in some past tractors. he is supposed to get back with me on the solution.

I would just cut some off the top of my quick attach plate but after further studying the angle that the top is at wouldn't allow the plate to fully go up into the receiving plate thus it still would be too big.
