Just wanted to pass this along to everyone. I lost a spring on the slip clutch that came with my King Kutter tiller. I wanted to get an exact match for a replacement, so I contacted King Kutter for advice on where to find the same one. They connected me with their parts department. The guy in parts tells me that all of the slip clutches they use have the same spring. I explained that I'd been looking around and found many similar springs, but not sure they are the same - I didn't want one different one giving me unequal pressure on the clutch plates. He takes my address and says he'll see if he can get me one. It's been one week and I just got a package from King Kutter with 3 new springs - no charge. How awesome is that?
When I was looking at tillers, I had also contacted them to ask a couple of questions. They promptly returned my calls and spoke with me about the tiller. Anybody out there thinking about a King Kutter tiller, I can't say enough good about it. And with customer service like they have shown, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them a bit.
By the way, I also have a blade and a rake from them. I didn't feel I needed top of the line units for these, so I went with KK. I did get the Professional Series for all three implements, and let me tell you - they are extremely heavy duty. No issue at all with build quality. Paint may not be up to Land Pride's standards, but I paid half of their price for an implement that is of equal or better quality.
Thanks King Kutter!
