bush hog blade balance/vibration?

   / bush hog blade balance/vibration? #11
My blades had LARGE pits when I got the hog second hand and I've been trying to grind them down ever since. I take them off yearly and grind the heck out of them on a bench grinder. I basically guess at how much material I remove. They continue to work fine. Balance shmalance
FYI, taking them off and putting them on is not hard... two man job though. You'll need a breaker bar, a breaker bar extender (length of pipe), and a larger than normal socket. Oh, and an unsuspecting friend willing to slide under the hog as it is propped up on cinder blocks. And beer.
Sharp hog blades are great.
