Hello;

Is there a way to determine the differance between a Standard 300cx Bucket and a Heavy Duty 300cx Bucket?

I don't find any Data plates or tags on them.

thanks, nicholas

I believe you will have a double thickness of steel welded to both sides of the bucket. Also the top will be boxed in to re-enforce same. The bottom will have a second cutting edge (and I think it's bolted on). Basically, the whole circumference of the bucket is double thick to prevent bending.

I got a lightweight bucket with my tractor....and added plates to the sides and the top....then added a tooth bar to get a HD model.

The JD heavy duty bucket is boxed in with a second piece of steel along the top. The front edge of the sides of the bucket are reinforced. There are 4 straps welded across the bottom of the bucket instead of 2. The hd bucket's welded on cutting edge is pre-drilled for a bolt on cutting edge. That cutting edge and bolts cost extra. Hope this helps.
