I like my Wild Kat grapple. It does not have grease fittings. When I bought in January it was by far the best value for me. Even if the top tube fails at some point I can have it fixed and still be money ahead. Now if there has been a major price increase it may no longer be the best value. After having a grapple I can give you one piece of advice any grapple is better than no grapple
AGREED!! Yes my top tube just bent from carrying 12-14' logs longways but hey it was never designed to do that. Some 3" angle iron, 2 hours of my time and a few more braces and were good to go. IMHO at $700 it would still be a good value, anything above that I would have to reconsider. CJ
