Good Morning Gentlemen,
I hope that everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the lovely weather.
I'm finally about to get my business deal closed that I have been working on since April, so now I can buy my new Kubota M9960 and sherdder.
My last shredder was a rhino 6' and boy it took some time when I set out to shred the goatweeds on the approx 50 acres of grazing pasture.
I'm really looking forward to shredding with a 15' batwing.
I will mainly be shredding weeds once or twice a year and do not plan on mowing any brush.
My question is about which model to get. I have priced the RC3615 and was told my Kubota dealer that it is a light duty shredder.
Is the only difference the size brush that it can cut?
I would guess the HD morels are made of heaver metal and will probably last longer but they are also 3K more expensive.
Does anyone have a RC3615 with many hours on it?
Any advise on which model to get?
Since I'm getting a new Kubota, I want to stick with Land Pride so i can get the 0% financing as well.

Thanks,

Danny

If he doesn't show up, you might check with foreman Etexas as he has Land Pride cutters and I think is looking to get a bat wing.

I use Woods and LP, but no bat wings.

Danny, congratulations on the new (pending) tractor purchase. I just bought a LP RCR2510 this weekend. Not the same class as your new bat wing but I am impressed with the heaviness & build quality. It's rated for up to 1 1/2" brush thickness where I think the 3615 is rated for 2 1/2". So You should be more than covered. I too was mowing with a 6' shredder and I can tell you a 10' (let alone a 15') will be awesome. And if your not using it for a D9 Cat, you should be fine. Good luck. Larry
