It is oriented nearer the bottom. Just like in the manual.

pretty common to have the oil check sump level on that type of gearbox BELOW the input shaft seal.
as the gear spins it will distribute oil..e tc..

The wires to the brushes are to provide exitation voltage to the rotor coil and the voltage comes from the AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator). Originally Posted by sdkubota
