Re: BH92 Kubota backhoe. Will it lift 1,500 pounds? Please help.
The Kubota L39 specs its backhoe as having 1000# craning rating. I don't thing the BH92 is going to crane the 1500# you need.

Re: BH92 Kubota backhoe. Will it lift 1,500 pounds? Please help.
Many hoe attachments don't even spec a "craning force". I believe the craning force is
defined as the lifting force using the dipper cylinder at its maximum-force angle. Others
may find a better definition or ISO spec.
Of course, the "mainframe" used to support the BT1000 hoe is going to be stronger
than the subframe used for the BH92.
Even if you can lift a load a couple of inches off the ground (as with the bkt curl
action), moving it around with the tractor is going to cause some serious bouncing
stresses.See my TBN projects at:

Re: BH92 Kubota backhoe. Will it lift 1,500 pounds? Please help.
I wouldnt even attempt it. Espeically if there is any reach at all involved. Sure, its digging force may be 2600lbs, but dont confuse that with lifting force. Digging force is achieved by extending the cylinders....the direction they have most power. But lifting requires the cylinders to retract, where they have less power. Also, that digging force is MAX digging force. When the cylinders and things are at their optimal location and angle.
I'd say you are right, that those pipes are about double what you can comfortably handle. My 18,000lb old BH with massive 5" cylinders only gives a max lift at full reach rating of 2000lbs. And as big and strong as my machine is, I am sure I'd notice the pipes. No way would I do it on a BH92. And even if you "could" do it....how long do you expect the machine to last doing that any given amount of time at all".........there is only one way to find out."

Re: BH92 Kubota backhoe. Will it lift 1,500 pounds? Please help.
I've decided to go ahead and buy a backhoe attachment tomorrow just to use around my property. Is the bh92 the current best option? again, thanks to those that have responded.

I've had the BH92 for several months. It is easy to put on and off, seems to be well made, and works well for its size. I have no complaints about it.

I know this is an old thread but how did it ever work out - was it able to lift the pipes?
