I just purchased a sickle mower at auction and need help with it. There are no tags on it and it has been repaired in the past. Best I can make out is that it might be a Enorossi with a 7 foot bar. I would like to get a parts and owners manual if any are available. The main problem is the tension spring, it is not connected and parts may be missing. The top link is mounted in the wrong place I believe. I need to know what bolts are used for the blades, one is missing and I need to know if they are normal or shear.

Thanks for any help. PA050001a.jpgPA050006a.JPG

To me it looks like a Massey Ferguson. My friend has one very simlar to the one pictured.

It looks to be a Befco or Enrossi double action. Do the guards and section bars both move when you turn the small pulley? Ken Sweet

It is a double action but after looking at it closer I see that it is a Gribaldi & Salvia mower. Bushings are shot at the bar mount as well as the bolts, one is missing. Not sure if it is the right spring on it but I attached it to the arm and drew up tension to it. I found a parts diag. and it looks like the spring should be a coil at the pivot of the arm. Any pictures would help.

If it is a G&S before 1994, no parts are available. If after 94, I have some new and used parts. Ken Sweet

Here is a closeup pic of a G&S 394-7 (current production). Ken Sweet
