JD 48 backhoe on JD4300 w/430 loader
Hi,
i have a 4300 with a 430 loader and am close to buying a used JD 48 backhoe for it. my research indicates i need to install the "power beyond" kit (JD part # BM19537) and side mounting plates (JD part # BM19564).
i understand once these are on the tractor mounting and removing the 48 backhoe is a pretty quick and easy job. if anybody has any experience or opinions about this set up (4300 tractor with 430 loader and the 48 backhoe) i would really appreciate your input.
finally, if anybody has either the power beyond kit or the mounting plates kit for sale, please get in touch.
thanks!!!

Hi,
You also need to know what model tractor the backhoe came off of. The backhoes have a weldment plate that is specific for medium frame or large frame compact tractors.

You can find the Power Beyond kits on eBay now and then. But I'd try a dealer first.
