Re: New Wildcat 66" grapple for me today!
Jim,
After loading brush and debris on my folks or using my loader bucket, this thing will be a labor multiplier for sure. I have some trees I need to cut up so I'll probably start with that. I also have some brush clearing so I'm going to try to rip up and pull out some brush. We'll see how it goes.
Thanks,

Re: New Wildcat 66" grapple for me today!
Got a chance to run all the hydraulic plumbing for my grapple and gave it a try. I bought the W.R. Long 3rd function kit specific for the MX5100 (and probably other Kubotas). The hookup was easy and the installation appears neat. I believe the 66" grapple was the right choice. It's about the same width as my tractor and there's definitely no problem with the weight. I was able to pick up some pretty good sized logs to cut up. scooped up a good bit of brush to add to my growing burn pile. My only complaint is I do have a little bit of play at the bottom pins for the quick attach. I'll need to weld on a couple of shims to take up the space.
