Which Quick Hitch???
I have a new Kubota L3240 tractor that is finer than sliced bread!!! I would like to get a quick hitch for it but have a question. Is the Land Pride that much better than a Speeco?? I am not limiting myself to only two brands but these are the ones I was looking at. Most of the implements I have are quick hitch comparable and I assume all quick hitches are the same deminsion wise. Ideas or thoughts?

Re: Which Quick Hitch???
I have the Land Pride QH15. To me it looks very similar to the Speeco except the Speeco uses bolts to attach the top hook whereas the Land Pride uses two pins with hair pin clips to retain them. I bought the Land Pride because the Speeco was out of stock everywhere when I needed one. From what I've seen the price on the Land Pride is significantly higher than that of the Speeco. If I recall the Land Pride was $400+. Mine came with the extra hardware for the floating top link but I still think it was too expensive.

Re: Which Quick Hitch???
Mine is Speeco, bought few years ago from TSC. It came with the top link adapter, 2 bushings for the lower pins, and had the pull out pins with spring clips for the top hook. Took those out and put in bolts once I got all the older implements modified to same top link height.

Re: Which Quick Hitch???
I've got a deere QH with a fixed top hook.
I do suggest buying one with an adjustable top hook...makes life a bit easier.
Brand? I'm partial to Land Pride, but no personal experience.Roy Jackson

Re: Which Quick Hitch???
Thanks for the replies! I dont think the Land Pride QH uses the bushings on the lower link arms and the Speeco non-econom version does use the bushings. Is this correct? Also, what is the main difference between the Speeco economy red QH and the regular black Cat 1 QH?
Now, if anyone else has any thoughts on the Harbor Freight QH I would love to hear them. Icertainly dont want a quick hitch that isnt quick to use!!!If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking! -- General George S. Patton

Re: Which Quick Hitch???
I have a HF QH, currently they are $79.00 here. They do not come with all the pins and floating top link. The LP come4s with pin bushings for the bottom pins. The HF has 3/4 pins on the lift points, easy to bore out to 7/8. The top hook may require lenghting like I had to do to keep from interfering w/implement hook up. I replaced the bolts with pins. The bottom hooks were spread out 1/2" too far ourside to outside. Grounf off 1/4 each side. Ordered the top flex parts and pin bushings fron the LP dealer. I still saved $200 over the LP unit. If you are not handy enough to do all that you need to pay up and get a LP or some other brand name. Northern Tool and Speeco also do not have all those parts I had to buy.

Priefert for maximum adjustability. Haven't found an implement yet that it won't fit.
