meteor snowblower gearbox question
Do the meteor snowblower gearboxes contain oil? If so, how is one to replace?

Yes, the fill/check plug is on the side opposite the auger drive. Cannot miss it, it is the only bolthead about half way up on side.....15/16" if I remember correctly.

You can go with Kendall gear box oil, will last forever! Mine is just like new, after many season.
Here is the link for the manuel shop from Martin, at page 16 you have details and recommendation is at page 27 (lubrification).
