Re: New Grapple exceeds expectations
I have had a 66" GRM series clamshell or root grapple rake and I willsay this that both styles have a place where they shine. you can open the rake and drag brush backward into a pile. Whereas the L shaped grapple you can lay items in and not rely on the grapple to hold it in. Each will do 75% of what the other will. The clamshell grapple does keep the load closer to the tractor and help with the weight. Here a couple of links of a couple of my previous threads with pics. You cant goe wrong with either one and like I said there are places one will outdoor the other.

1Timothy Chapter 2:
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

I just took Ky's lead, and ordered a GR-S 72" today. I think it would be a great fit on my M7040. Thanks to all on TBN that have contributed opinions and views on various grapples. I'm glad I'm done reading, can't wait to get that beast on my tractor!

Yes I am and yes, I bought it at EA. Ask about a TBN discount. Make sure you get the offset in the second picture. I don't have my own pictures but here are the stock pictures.

Re: New Grapple exceeds expectations
Your welcome! I think you will be well satisfied. Thanks Dex3361 and everyone for posting pictures. It really give us different ideas to use our grapples. It also gives TBN members who may be looking to purchase, get a better perspective and allow for a more educated decision.
