Is there anyone out there that makes a bucket mounted push bar? Something that would work for pushing around non running vehicles etc. Or has anyone made something up for themselves? Thanks

I placed a tire between the loader and my pickup truck bumper to push it up onto the trailer once. Worked pretty sell.

If you're doing this a lot Denaliakitas......does your loader have a QA on the front? You can buy plates for $130 or so on Ebay....put some tires on it and I think you've got a great way to push cars around.

In an automotive shop that I used to work at where we did a lot of "no start" diagnosis, we had a toyota 4-runner with a wood bumper with 3 tires attached to it. Pushed cars all over the place with that thing.

No my tractor doesnt have a QA setup on it. I am hoping to come up with something that can mount to the bucket pretty quickly like some of the bucket forks do. All i really need is a single vertical post or something thats padded so it doesnt scratrch up whatever i am pushing. Basically want to be able to push non running vehicles into the shop to work on them.

do you have a toothbar on the bucket...if so, I'd hang tires from the teeth, point the teeth up so the tires don't fall off and push away

Tractor Supply has a hitch plate just about what you are looking for. SKU # 1891593 It is called a Pintle mounting plate. It is sold separately from the pintles and fits a 2 in. receiver.

Don't know if this will work for you, but I built a wagon tongue type bar that I use to push/pull stuff around. I took a 10 foot piece of 2" pipe, welded two pieces of steel (with holes for hitch pins) on each end. It looks like a double ended wagon tongue. Hook one end to the tractor drawbar, the other end to the drawbar or receiver hitch of the disabled vehicle. With this, I can move whatever vehicle needs moved, using the tractor brakes to stop it. Just have someone steer the dead one.
No chain, no scratches, no runaways.
