I realize that I probably can't go wrong with either but I guess I am looking for experience between the following two rear blades: Woods HBL 72-2 or LandPride RB2672. I want a good fairly heavy rear blade that will last a long time. I have a kubota L3240 4WD to pull this beast. Main uses would be road maintenance (angle, crown) with ability to ditch (drainage for wet areas). The tilt is the second most important feature to me after the overall weight of the blade. I have a heavy box blade (LMC 6' - approximately 600#/not real sure) so moving dirt is not a problem. I like the flexibility of the rear angle and tilt blade; mine was apparently stolen (or somebody needed it real bad and forgot where they borrowed it from 3 years ago) and I am trying to avoid some of the short comings of it, mainly it was light duty, didn't tilt or offset. The offset feature seems to be the option I would use the least so I was leaning toward the LandPride because it has no pivot at the three point hit h; you must manually unbolt the moldboard to make it offset.
Real world prices would be nice. Tractor house has the LandPride around $1000.00 and haven't been able to find a price for the Woods online. What say you? Any opinions are welcome and if there is a blade I left off I am willing to look at it too!
