Picked up a Kobalt dolly for my JD Ballast Box at Lowes today for about $32.00. Its rated for 1000 lbs.

I'm not sure what the weight of my box is filled with small stone but the dolly should take care of it.

Should work on a concrete floor okay. I don't have a ballast box but I do have an extra 60 heavy casters laying around. Just a thought but why not have a set of casters permanently mounted to the box?

I like they would dig in the ground to much, especially on a smaller tractor.

Mine is on concrete so it works good for me. Thats a great idea to have them mounted to the box. With all the things people have done to their attachments I've never seen or heard someone doing that.

I found the exact same dolly that I got from Lowes for 32.00 at Tractor Supply on sale for 20.00. Regular price was 24.00.

I got three of them. One each for the Frontier RB 2072, JD Ballist Box, and 40 gal 3pt sprayer. They work great and at 1000 lb capacity they will handle everything I have.

Thinking about getting one for my QA Pallet forks and my 3pt spinner spreader. I've been dragging these two around when I hook them up so the dolly will make that an easier task.

Took the one from Lowes back for a refund. Couldn't do the price match because it was on sale.

I'm liking the TSC store more all the time.

Harbor Freight has the same thing for about $20...cheaper if you watch the flyers. Paid 15 bucks for mine (which I bought for my ballast box, BTW).
