Ya and no trailer. I am looking at one of these. Could you tell me about how long does it take to split a cord of firewood. About an hour?
Hey would you look at that. Thanks for pointing this out. I still love the splitter eventually
I'll build a trailer and use a gas engine. Only real reason is to keep the hours off the tractor. I like having it on the tractor as its self propelled. I cut my wood into long piles usually 6 feet or so deep and up to 20 feet long I just drive down the pile length wise and split and stack the wood into my firewood bags

How does it run? How do I get the hydro to flow from my tractor to the splitter. Do I need a certain type of value?

I actually have intentions in the next couple years to add a 16 - 22 gpm pump 2 stage pump. Just upgraded to 200 amp service and plan on running 100amp to the barn so i can then buy a bigger welder. I want to build a trailer setup for it and tje power pack.

I love the splitter i split a cord of wood last weekend. It works great. I would guess you'd want atleast 10gpm of flow to your remotes.

It takes 2 people to feed and opperate otherwise the spliter is idle so much of the time. Since ypu dont have to wait for the return stroke. If you want to cut 18" get the 28" model that way you can fit one piece at each end. The 24" model is 33" betweem the uprights.

No special valve needed just a remote. I bungee cord my tractor valve open.

Lift works great and will easily lift and split 30-36" diameter this piece was over 42" round. Insplit it inhalf on the ground

I wonder could you ad a honda motor power pack later.
