Default Re: Rear blade+box blade +landscape rake is there any additionla beneift to a landpla

One of the things I did with my rake was to add some plates to the ends to prevent gravel from spilling out and leaving gravel trails (i.e., "box rake")...one of the benefits of the plates is that they (plates) create an "edging" effect along the shoulders...especially when tilted slightly.... a larger sharpened plate would make an even better "edger"...

Do you have ditches along the shoulders? is the grass you are asking about grow between the ditch and the drive?

I maintain our driveway with a Box Blade. It took me quite a bit of time before I became somewhat proficient with using it. One of the reasons being that I have a prothesis on my left leg below the knee, and I have to climb on and off the tractor quite a lot. Since I just paid off my tractor several weeks ago, I have begun setting money aside for purchasing a T&T come Spring time. BTW, best wishes and welcome aboard.

It is hard to describe in words how much easier your life will be with T&T....I have severe arthritis in both my hips and climbing on and off the machine is the pits...
Not only that you will be able to make minor changes in attachment attitude that you did not bother with prior...and your end result will make you proud...cheers...!

The grass that I have is right up against the driveway, it is level about 2 feet wide, then it dips gradually to a shallow ditch.
Thanks again to all for the replies and tips!
