Well... in the end... these fittings on the end of the hoses attached to the bracket of the W R Long kit itself, turned out to be the easiest of them all to just loosen and swap the hoses. One wrench and it was very quick and little mess.

I should start a new thread titled "My Wicked 55 found me these..". Was sort of astonishing few minutes at lunch. I and my small crew were at a stopping point on a job and decided to come out to my barn area and kick around while waiting on a treatment to cook. I had limb hanging from an Oak I wanted to just dispense with and so I went out there with the grapple and we pulled it out and I disposed of it in the woods. So while I had a few minutes I decided to try and learn how to grapple out small saplings tangled in honey suckle... well.. much to my surprise I kept finding stuff... these four implements I had not known were there. Most of them useful if not by me but someone... Really old solid built stuff that can be easily put into useful life.

Weird... but I got them all drug out with the grapple. Might have just paid for itself in less than an hour!

In my area that stuff would be worth 150 to 250 buck ea. So that was a nice find, lucky your grapple found them and not your tires. Keep up the good work

Thats probably about right in my area too. Some of the stuff more than others. The drag is probably not worth much of anything. The Cultivator and Scrape probably worth the most. Id say $750 total for all of it. Along with the couple of other things I found in this area earlier of which I could use only a few things this area was a gold mine. I found a 9 tine Field Cultivator and a large 20 Disc unit as well right there along with a older post hole auger thats probably just parts and a few nice big 9 and a half foot telephone poles and one 40 foot pole all hidden in there. The previous owner of this property was my father in law and he had forgotten what was in there. And yes indeed. Its a good thing I waited until the grapple got here to explore that area. It made it really handy to dig around in that thick brush and vines.

I might keep the scrape and the cultivator. The plow and drag will go. Too big for my tractor.

I often use my grapple to rip blackberry vines off of saplings. I can push the grapple in and around saplings and lift straight up and the grapple will tend to snag the vines and pull on them while the sapling's trunk and branches pass through (mostly undisturbed).

Nice find! If you don't already have one, a 40-lb HF sandblaster will clean them up nicely, and pay for itself in added curb appeal. 4 lb. Pressurized Abrasive Blaster
