    Default Pats quick attachments

Does anybody have a set of these on a kubota 3000HSDC? I read some comments about the atachments making the lower arms longer which makes sense, and then issues with drive shafts being to short, having to order a different top link arm to allow for more adjustment etc. I'm wanting to order but dont want to have to purchase more stuff and modify all my existing equipment. Hoping to hear from some Kubota guys that are using Pat's quick attachments on their three points. Mine is a type 1 by the way.

I have Pat's QA system on a kubota L3800. I did buy a longer top link at Tractor Supply, but I needed it anyway due to one attachment not working well with the stock top link. All of my PTO shafts still work with Pat's system, but I bought a PTO extender anyway just to have it in case I need it with an attachment. I bought it at ASC (Agri Supply) on-line, their part # 11971. If you buy one, be sure to match your PTO diameter and number of splines.

I like a regular quick hitch myself. You need telescopic stabilizers for pats to work. if you have turnbuckles how will you keep the lift arms in place? You can buy a PTO shaft extension. Popular Searches at Tractor Supply Co.

We have turnbuckles on our L3800 and Pat's QH works fine. Almost all of our attachments are within 1/2" or so of being the same distance between the two lower 3PH lift pins on the attachment. As a result, we just back up to the attachment with the lift arms on the tractor lower than the 3PH lower pins on the attachment and raise the lift arms. For the attachments that are not the same width between the 3PH lift pins, we have marked the stabilizer bar (an option with Pat's QH that I recommend buying) with the correct width for those attachments, and we adjust the turnbuckles accordingly for more or less distance between the pins on the attachment. And we have the stabilizer marked for the usual distance between the attachment pins so that we can quickly adjust the turnbuckles back to that width. All of that said, I do wish we had the telescoping liftarms. Adjusting the turnbuckles is a pain. fyi, we were using the Delta Hook QH method. We went to Pat's because when we sized down in tractors and as a result had to also size down in some attachments, the female Delta Hook that goes on the attachment would not work on all of the attachments.

I also have them on my L3800. No issues at all. Like rbtjr, most of my attachments are in the same width range except one, which was adjustable, so I adjusted it to match the width also. These things make changing implements a breeze. I did buy a longer top link when I bought the PATS. I would have been mostly extended on the stock one with limited adjustment.
