Backhoe BT1100 backhoe bucket

I have been told that the Kubota BT1100 backhoe with the quick attach uses a Kx excavator bucket. Does anyone know if this is true and what excavator bucket is interchangable with this? This is on my l48 tlb....a great tractor Thanks, John

I believe that a KX121 or a U35 Kubota excavator quick attach is the same one they use for the L48 as well.

Thanks for the reply Tags. Thanks to some ealier posts on this site, I was able to track it down to the Kx 121 also. I am pretty sure the "U" seris is a little different. I am talking with the guys down at USA Attachment trying to them to make me a quick release 36 inch bucket with teeth. They are also making a blade that will cover the teeth for grading and stuff. Cool guys down there! Still up in the air though. John

Let us know how the blade works out. I've been considering building one to be able to shovel the snow from my side walk while setup on my driveway.

So, $935.00 and about 10 days plus 150.00 for the grader bar and 2 extra teeth. And it fits!! That includes shipping and made in U.S.A.!!! I wanted to buy local but it was $1400.00 to 1600.00 plus a longer wait. The only gripe I have is they forgot to drill out the grader plate to knock the teeth pins through on the 2 end teeth to take the grader bar off. Thinks I have drilled holes before. Where should I post some pictures? John...It is the KX 121 that works for the bt1100. The Co. I bought it from did not even know this. Maybe they will give me a break on a root rake for the 36 inch bucket
