Re: Giving my hoe a facelift
i would mount in on the 3 pt the fel is way to weak for a hoe if u mount to fel you ll bent to arms yeah i bent mine
Re: Giving my hoe a facelift
If you have the subframe from the last tractor, and a FEL with a frame under the new tractor it shouldn't be that hard to adapt the frame to your new tractor, and attach it to the loader frame an axle. Maybe the dealer would even take a trade in of the old frame twords a new one to fit your tractor. Do you have the proper hydraulic continues pressure on the new tractor I assume you ordered it this way.
Re: Giving my hoe a facelift
Let me ask this a little bit different. I think my original post was confusing.
What are the pros vs. cons in adapting a small backhoe to a skidsteer plate to mount on an FEL vs. making into a 3 point mount and attach on the rear.
Fabrication wise it's about the same amount of work.
Opinions?
Re: Giving my hoe a facelift
Not being familiar with the backhoe attachment but assuming it is a small hoe about 7 1/2' model you can do it either way. I say that since the tractor and loader are quite a bit larger than would be associated with this size hoe.
Re: Giving my hoe a facelift
If you mount it on the loader you could use it to clean out the gutters.
