Looking for Biggest Box Scraper on the market - Need Advice
I'm looking to purchase the largest capacity box scraper with shanks/rippers I can find. Presently the leader in the pack seems to be the Woods/Gannon Model HD24496HXD with 34.3 cubic feet of dirt capacity. The key I'm finding in capacity is the width, depth and height of the box which significantly impacts the price as well. I have a 6-feet wide box scraper from my smaller tractor but I need something bigger for the bigger tractor and having a top and tilt kit on both tractors makes it nice with a box scraper. Any advice/suggestion would greatly be appreciated.

Re: Looking for Biggest Box Scraper on the market - Need Advice
I prefer the HB series with the hinged rearblade as it allows you to cut deeper more easily. If you read the text on it they do make a 96" model but it seems to have been left out of the chart. I have an 84" industrial box Frontier/Gannon that weighs 1260 lbs. and has a capacity of over 30 cu. ft. Well satisfied with it. Mine is a Frontier BB1284.Last edited by jenkinsph; 01-13-2013 at 12:26 PM.

Cammond and paladin /FFC both make some monsters as well. I want to say the 4x4 ffc 84" is like 1600lbs and also has optional replaceable side plates. FFC is really proud of their stuff you may go into shock when you see a price on the FFC. But probably the heaviest built on the market

Woods/Gannon has some larger boxes yet on their Construction pages, the MDM series from 39 to 45 cu ft. You can find them on the bottom of this page: Construction Landscape Equipment.

Re: Looking for Biggest Box Scraper on the market - Need Advice
I have used a 8' LandPride Box Blade for about 20 years. It's been great & was cost effective when I bought it.
Take a look at the HR35 & HRL35 Series Box Scrapers | Land Pride
Remember all of the Box Blades your looking at are over 1 yard capacity and will be heavy to pull when full and still filling. I can easily stop my 4WD (with front and rear differential locks) 75 HP New Holland TN75D with mine.
