Drilling rig or post driver?

Edit: Oh yeah, Boremaster!

Perhaps for soil samples?

I see what looks like a silver color PTO pump down at the bottom with a large return hydraulic line to the left. I see a smaller pressure line with a filter (on the pressure side?), a hydraulic tank on the bottom side and a couple of hoses going up to what I believe would be a hydraulic cylinder at the top. I don't see a 3 pt hitch so I would rule out a post driver. I see leveling legs so it looks like something that needs to be perfectly vertical and is made to set on concrete. So I am guessing it is a hydraulic shop press run off of a PTO ?

It does have a 3 pt hitch. Looks like a post driver to me but it does have drilling rods on trailer beside it, but they could be used for posts. So I'm guessing.

Lolls like a McMurtry l-215 bypass rig that is ported for the Lemke attachment to be run in series as it pumps sideways for retrieval. Often known as the mclem pulsing harness in the southwest. Always just been a 215 up north. it's a quality tool sometimes mistaken for the older Gibson model 344. Nice rig. Brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing
