Lowery Manufacturing Company (LMC) implements
How's the quality of their equipment. I live in Georgia, about 200 miles from them. If it's good equipment, I might make a run up there. If not, anyone know of an implement small businesses in Ga?

I can't speak to there actual reliability since I don't own one but I looked at their 6' heavy duty cutter last fall and they are very stout for the money. It was about half the money of an equivalent land pride or woods. It was very simple and didn't have the fit and finish of the name brands but still looked very well put together and definitely had one of the strongest looking hitches I've seen on a small rotary cutter. I know of one or two on here that have spoken well of their box blades too.

Yes, I have several of their pieces of equipment. They are out of Boaz, AL and several places in the state stock their equipment (usually red colored equipment). I have a heavy duty disc (appx 7ft), a 7 shank field renovator, a row hiller, and a standard cultivator.
All of these I would consider quality pieces. Haven't had any issues/breakage. Bought all these implements at once about 2 years ago and have done well. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the implements I have.

I did the same thing, and it was worth it. They had a lot of implements on the yard the day i went. I think they make good stuff and will buy again.

We have bought several pieces in the past including rotary cutters and box scrapers, quality is about the same as Country Line; not close to Land Pride or Woods, but a lot cheaper.
I now only buy Land Pride or Woods, but my brothers use LMC. They have used the box scrapers for years and while faded are still in good shape.

Awesome, looks like a good day trip up there. I'm starting a small tractor service in my community. Mostly brush cutting, gardens, moving dirt, food plots etc.... With my L3240. I need a 2 bottom plow, 6' harrow, and drag harrow.... They don't have prices on their website. I hear they are reasonable but have yet to find any information on prices. I've actually wrote a few emails (last week) with no answer as of today.

Just give them a call during normal business hours for pricing. If you have something specific in mind, call ahead to make sure it is assembled.

I don't know if this is any closer but you could check.
This is a small farm supply store but usually has some pretty good used stuff for smaller tractors. I've bought several pieces from them over the years. Might check with them.
They also carry the LMC brand but don't have a lot in stock.
He's always got some good looking cultivators, disc turn plows, mold board plows, box scrapes, he has a list on their website with the prices but sometimes his website isn't completely up to date. You can get their address and phone # off the link below.

I can't tell for sure but the box blade shown on this page looks like LMC's light duty model. It would be similar to a TSC blade. However, they sell a little heavier duty model that has 1/2 inch side plates weighing about 552 pounds that I'd say is s step up from TSC if you need it. It sells for $600 in this area.

Most of the time I'm just looking at the used stuff. It's not always listed on the website but I live close enough to drive by every now and then and keep a check. He carries some medium duty older stuff, Massey, Ford, Landpride, etc. plows and mowers.
Yes you're right about his light duty LMC equip. As far as the new stuff that's mostly what he has. I'm sure he could get the heavy stuff and you might could make a deal with him. He's always seemed reasonable priced.I've got a cutting torch and a welder sooo YEAH it'll fit!!
