What is the green chain hanging on the right side in the last picture?

I think that's the pendulum weight for the cuckoo clock.. ;)

Next time I have mine apart I'm going to add some grease fittings, it's starting to "squeeeeal like a pig" whenever I turn the blade.

It looks like the pin that holds the blade in position.

Dooley you are **** to a fault:thumbsup: . Seriously , all your projects turn out nice and all the details are done . It is much easier to do all the details now isn't it . Look forward to future posts , Kevin .

Thanks everyone,
That is a locking pin hanging from the chain.
It's nice to do all the details but projects seem to take longer with three kids and wife teaching school.
Another subzero night started and the woodbox needs to be filled.
I have to brave the windchill and haul a few bucket loads of wood up to the house.
I'm burning a rag with some used motor oil in right now in the garage wood stove.
Works great for a short fire to take the chill out of the garage.
