You got a great deal. I have the Frontier version in a 72". It's a beefy blade.

I'm with the other guys in that I would try it out before you cut on it.

Excellent find...
Very fair price...
A whole lot higher new...
Don't cut it down...
You will find out that your tractor can handle it...
What if later you decide to trade up to a larger tractor???
I have a NH 1720 that is around the same size as your Bota...
My tractor has a 65" WB and weighs in around 3300# with loaded tires...
I have no problem at all with a heavy duty Rhino blade that my dad got years ago when he was a tractor implement salesman...
It is 8'...
The front wheel assist makes a huge difference...
Just my opinion...
Take it for what it's worth...
That is a really nice blade...

Turbys thanks for the info, my tractor has loaded rears as well so I should have plenty of weight with them loaded and the cab, kinda sounds like I might not have to cut it down any. My only concern really is its probably not gonna be able to spin 360* with it hooked to the tractor without hitting the tires.

I almost forgot guys, I had a load of junk that I got off a job site I was on and I took it yesterday before I went to look at the blade and I got $400 for it...! So really I only have $100 out of pocket in this bad boy!

Well fellas I my bushings cut down and got the plow hooked to the tractor lastnight and had about 2" of snow to try it out, it sent much but it gave me something to play with. Anyway I'm glad some of you mentioned about not cutting it down becauseit works great and I think my tractor will be able to handle it just fine, I just won't be able to take as big of a bite in dirt. Also with my Woods quick attach on the back the blade can rotate 360* without hitting the tires!
Just thought id give and update.

I have the same blade in 6 foot width and really like it. I use the offset and tilt on ditches here at home. Works really great. You got a deal.

Trust me I'm definitely askin around. Like you I like to buy heavy duty equipment but personally can't afford to buy it all new. Good used stuff is out there it's just a matter of waiting for it to turn up. I've found you don't wanna get I'm a rush buyin used stuff or you'll end up settling for something you don't really want!
