Re: What size rear blade for my John Deere 1026?
I would purchase the 5 foot.
If you want to work outside the tire width. buy one that offsets to the side instead of going wider.2012 JD 2320, HOMEMADE CANOPY, 54" FRONT BLADE, 54" MID DECK MOWER, HYDRAULIC ANGLE 60" REAR BLADE, QUICK HITCH, STAINLESS FRONT MOUNT SPRAY TANK W/BOOM, 200CX LOADER W/ 61" BUCKET, HOMEMADE BALLAST BOX,HOMEMADE BUCKET GRAPPLE

Re: What size rear blade for my John Deere 1026?
The Everything Attachments 5' value blade would be a good option for you. It tilts and also offsets. The offset is very handy for cleaning out a ditch. It weighs 290 lbs and has a 15'' high moldboard. The more weight a blade has the better the job it will do. It is $551 and they are offering 5% of their brand attachments, it is over $100 less than a comparable Woods does not offset.

Re: What size rear blade for my John Deere 1026?
The EverythingAttachments blade looks really nice, and they discussed their design choice clearly in the video... but I would not buy an implement that's not iMatch (quick hitch) compatible. I just love mine too much to go back to wrestling with side links.

I liked the Everything Attachments but as soon as they said not quick hitch compatible I knew that would not work for me since I have a quick hitch.

Re: What size rear blade for my John Deere 1026?
Ok everyone prolly already thinks I am dumb but going to ask anyways. What is the advantages of getting a blade that tilts? Is it worth the extra $200? The Landpride RB1560 that don't tilt is $550 the RB1660 that tilts is $750.

Tilts are good for changing the grade or Ditching. Provably has some other uses they are faster to adjust than the 3 pt linkages. But you can do the same thing really fast with a top n tilt setup on the 3 pt . Really just need the tilt part.
